Hi all, i just phoned my local indy this morning to ask for a B service quote for my 50,000 mile c320cdi, i nearly fell on the floor when he said £330 plus VAT!!! does this sound right or is he taking the p---? it's already had a new fuel filter and gearbox oil and filter change at 45000 mile, i feel this is a bit steep. Your thoughts please???

Have a look at MB websites for fixed servicing prices. I pay around £350 inc VAT to my dealer for a basic B service. Obviously filters etc are extra..and I get Mobilio renewed for another year. Has to be a better deal than your independant guy.

All IMHO of course...

I agree - that is £400 inc VAT - what is he going to do for £400? Obviously an oil and filter change - but what else?

chrissbrad66 - i know a good independent MB trained guy who was prefered to me by another person from this forum. His garage is in forest gate - london. Very nice guy, he quoted me £225 for C200K 80k miles.

If you want his contact details PM me

welcome to the world of MB, if you think that's expensive you should try Mitsubishi!

You need to contact this chap:

Ian is a good indy based near Preston. He looks after my 211 and I highly recommend him :thumb:

You may need to take some hobnobs with you!
Oh yes, If a guy called John approaches you with a dripping soapy sponge and a wild look in his eyes its best just to let him get on with it! :D
