The analogue clock is stopped Can anyone advise how to set the clock. Has it a seperate fuse?

Its probably a faulty instrument cluster. Contact cartronix in waterlooville for repair.

In mine, it was a duff main battery.

Is yours a W211 with 'Convenience features disabled" appearing at all?

I have a w211 and I set my analogue clock through the comand system think it's in the serv menu once you set the time there and press ok the analogue click in dash automatically changes
Took me ages to find out too
Hope this helps

Many thanks.
Problem is I have the manual of 509 pages on line.
Whereas if I had a book it would be so easy and quick to search by flicking through. .

Hi.
Just had new command system fitted.
Collected car today.
Just noticed time is 5 mins slow
And date is 2003.
When I press system and press date
The hours I can alter.
The minutes only alter by 30 mins intervals.
The date is greyed out.
Do I set this on the instrument cluster and not on the command?
Thankyou.

Odd as it sounds, t ime is set by the GPS signal, start the Nav and it should change soon after. Manual changing of the hours is just to set for local time zone.

somethings not coded correctly, it may need to go onto STAR

if he cant change change the date then somethings not right.

the time goes up in 30 min intervals.. .thats normal

Thank you for the advice.
I tried today for an hour
I read the manual and it says.
Turn off GPS and then you can set individual minutes and date.
I did this but it still only alters 30 mins at a time.
I will take it to merc. To see if they can do it.

From the instrument cluster you can turn off the feature to link the clock with COMAND. By turning this feature off you can then adjust the clock manually (allowing for individual minutes and dates).

Hi
On the instrument cluster
It does not have clock.
In my manusl it shows clock and click settings.
But on the instruments cluster there is no clock or time!
Any ideas
Thanks

In your first post, you say you have an analogue clock:confused:
Which model E55 do you have? A W/S211 has the clock in the cluster.
Can you post a pic of both your cluster and analogue clock please?

Do you mean you can't get to the clock settings in the middle of the speedo? If so it does say you can only do it if you have the Audio 20 and specifically not the 50 or Comand, in my manual.

 So that's what he meant:doh:

I did wonder as the post doesn't make it clear to me:wallbash:
