OK apologies in advance! Recently got a 2005 S320cdi limo but haven't got the manuals for it yet (dealer lost them and waiting for replacement) so I'm finding stuff out as I go.

Couple of things niggling me, first is that I can't seem to turn traffic announcement off. Even when it says its off it can (but not always) comes on.

Other thing is that it has the easy entry thing but sometimes the seat doesn't move forward when I start the car. Usually it does but sometimes nothing.

Are these easy things to fix? Or am I just doing something stupid? There's so much on this car - I love it ;)

Try holding down the loudspeaker mute button for a couple of moments until it beeps

Classic Mercedes mind-bending; when the TA says 'on' it means that it's actually off and it's asking you if you want it 'on'.

Register on the MB UK website, you should be able to then download an electronic copy of the manual.

Spx - lol thank you. I got that with the air con but hadn't thought of it with ta.

Any suggestions re the seat not going forward?

The seats are programmed to the key memory. Are you using the same key all the time?

Any suggestions re the seat not going forward?

After opening the car door, if you make any kind of adjustment to the seat before turning on the ignition, the easy-entry function is temporarily disabled and the seat will not return to the 'driving' position.

However, sometimes these seats have a mind of their own. Common problem.

You did?

I've never been able to get that.

I think there's some bizarre Teutonic goings on with that one:D
