sl350 pse pump

Hi all, I have had to replace the PSE pump (£823!!), on my sons 2004 sl350 due to water ingress into the boot through the seals which, hopefully i've cured, I replaced a blown fuse although the central locking still isn't working at all!! Is there some sort of reprogramming required? As i've seem to have come to a dead end and don't know what to do. Any help would be gratefully appreciated. Thanks in advance
