SL500 ROOF PARTIALLY OPENS

Hi I have a 2004 sl500 R230 and the roof was working fine now when i try to open it it opens not quite halfway ie boot opens roof goes up then suddenly stops just before the point of balance
If i then continue to close the roof with the engine off it will not lock open and close the boot section but will lock back into the closed position if i close it manually any ideas would be appreciated

If i continue to open the roof manually it should say above

sounds like one of the micro switches?

Things to check..
is the boot cover in place..? could it have moved..? are the flaps deploying? dirt or object in the groove the cover locks into? odd noises? consumer battery fully charged?
Get a code reader.. to look at the fault codes.

No funny noises,roof cover in place and flaps deploy as they should and are fully tight against the boot as it opens if that makes sense
I've ordered some oil to top it up see what that does it is on minimum other than that I'm stuck

Is the boot completely empty? If not might be something pressing up into the roof bag

Found the issue today it was the near side flap on the boot ,new ratchet ordered
