Lovely wheels, in fact a lovely example of a SL55..!!! Wouldn't mind those alloys on my E55.

didnt look diamond cut before, good job, looking nice!

insides were rotten behind the lip, and i wanted it to be A1, just got to get a few touch-up flattened down with some wet n dry, machine the bonnet (cars already been completely paint corrected) and thats about it really ready for the summer

Stunning car, stunning wheels, stunning colour...just stunning

your cars awesome d8ean...i really like the colour :thumb:

Great rimz :D

Did you do the rims yourself ?

Very nice car. Have you got an album in the gallery as I would like to see more photos.

Wheel;s look lovely however I am distracted by the colour of your car - absolutely stunning - :D

Lovely, lovely car - what colour is it?

Obviously had many, many hours spent on that paintwork, you could shave in it!

a truly stunning example of the SL there mate! i hope the wind deflector has come in handy! Really nice to see an SL55 thats not black or silver! i have no problems with those colours, but i love that blue! It looks a lot like our SL500 but a bit darker!

Very nice sir, very nice!

wind def is now fitted, although not really used the car (front left tyre seems to of died for some reason think it sat with no air in it has damaged the beading)

it does look superb in the daylight almost wet like, i have to print a label which says 'DO NOT WASH' for when i drop it off at the local merc dealer - they would ruin the paint in 2 mins with there freebe valet.

colour is designio mystic blue - now its had a 3 coat of wax, last one being RACEGLAZE55 so its getting darker and wetter each time....

just need to get the clock issue sorted

wheels were done by a company up north - not sure if im allowed to say the name???

cheers for the comments - i'd like to bring it too a meet one day perhaps..

quick update here,
car went in for brand new command unit.

got the car back with 2 wheels completely trashed, and paintwork scratched.

after a few words we were ordered two brand new wheels (took 3 months to arrive almost)

so don't recommend my local dealer (can i name and shame?)

and she's just had a machine polish and tidy up for the winter - now safely tucked away under her cover.
