SL55 Wing Mirror Indicator

guys,

noticed a small crack on the wing mirror lense, and that its slightly foggy in there - want to replace this part - i see euromerc has one on his site listed under both SL and SLK - is it the same fitment?

also how does one remove the old part - do i have to take the actual mirror out first?

the led wing mirror units cost around £30 from a MB dealer.

came like it fella, noticed it when detailing it the weekend new onw on order (well it will be come the morning) need to know how to remove the current one though

Not trying to take the Michael, but seeing as that generation SL is quite old now, is there not a Haynes manual available?

your prob right, mind you i've got access to the merc system via the net and that shows a exploded diagram, looks fairly simple once the glass is out
