Never spotted any repairs? in a state like the one posted!! mmm...

It's amazing what you can pass off at 'Stevie Wonder Motors LTD' ;)

Is no one other than me noticing that the wheels appear to be bent underneath the car ?

Two and a half grand

I was going to say £150 if you could find a complete bumper in the right colour from a breaker's yard!

Is the roof & A pillars being moved in not a big deal?

The cant rails will repair and roof skins are cheap and straightforward to fit.

Asside from the roof skin and a qtr, the rest of the damage is bolt on stuff.

Of what we can see from pic, who knows what lies beneath:confused:

10 mins in scuffs away and it will be sorted , its over the other side of the yard from the breakers ;)

Whatever the damage externally, looks like the bags are out, and not just the front ones. There's gonna be a scary story behind how that incident happened - I've had the odd mishap in my time, one in a 3 mth old Rover 75 leaving the road in an understeery slide on wet leaves and slamming a well established tree at about 40-50mph. That was repaired, at a cost of about 15k including airbags, roof skin etc. Car was like new after the repair.

My E class was hit from behind last year, that repair hit 12k (will post pics and more details one day when the claim is fully settled) as some of the bits that are recommended to be replaced are not cheap. Yes the panels and paint are very reasonable, but the electronics and sensors are not!

8000 quid for that car sounds heavy to me - the damage is going to cost a huge amount to repair but it would probably repair well.

The CLK is probably a better bet though

I always have a smile when I see these threads because I just know that Nick will tell us what is required. One day, one day I will read a post where he wilkl see the vehicle is beyond economic repair.

Here's one that might need a small dose of TLC:

Or will this one test you
