I've just sent hime some questions, including why the car is so cheap. Maybe it is legit and he was completely unaware of what it's worth! Somehow I doubt it! I'll let you know what response I get.

Well, well...my email to the seller obviously worked. It looks like he's not even selling the car, as the following addition now says:

"WARNING this car is not for sale someone has used my ebay details DO NOT BID ON IT YOU WILL PROBABLY BE RIPPED OFF ."

And I was so close to buying it for my other half! ;-)

Ho does such a 'rip off' work. Surely you still can only contact the ebay account holder if you want to buy the car, not the rip off merchant?

And don't worry, I'm not looking to get in on the act!

Funny how they try and back out of it....

Surely though, them knowing their own account etc could log on and "end listing." (Unless od course password etc been changed).
