SLK 250 CDI AMG Winter Tyres

As the rear tyres need replacing on my wife's 2012 SLK we decided to fit winter tyres all round.
The rear tyre size seems to be unavailable in the UK in a winter tyre. Apart from a Pirelli, but the price at £350@ ish is a lot more than I would like to pay.

Is it possible to fit smaller diameter wheels with higher profile tyres for the winter and if so what size is it possible to fit?
