I had a goo i the C sport 320. didnt really like it for a £30k car. still, wasnt bad in that sense. but in keeping with the thread, its roof was a bugger to lower SLK's was much easier

i suppose my extra 298bhp would tear off the top layer of rubber whilst i sit still waiting for traction to arrive. or were i too leave the ESP on, it would just eat up all the power and give the 2bhp needed to roll the car forward.

personally i would say the IMAGE of the SLK is better than a C200 Sports Coupe, however thats just based on pure image... a convertable is more of a flashier car than a sporty hatch, but as i said before its still personal opinion....

I recently changed my C class K sport coupe that I ran for three years for an SLK230 and I'm loving it. As has been said, two totaly different cars. It's a bit like asking the difference between a cat and a dog! Both house pets, four legs etc but totaly different animals:bannana:

you have to take dogs for a walk; however you dont have to take an SLK for a walk, so i think the SLK is better than a dog.

so the question still remains:

4) I sold it and buy a C-coupe 3 years newer car for the same money I spend on SLK (noncess).

One SLK does not equal all slks and one example of one model can't always be realistic. Did you try any other versions? compare it to the SLK55? or even another 320?

Sounds perfectly reasonable. The Slk is more expensive therefore you'd getter a newer model of a cheaper (C Class) car.
