SLK320 engine light

Hi just a quick question: on my way back from work i have to go down a long hill (2 miles) by the time i get to the bottom my engine warning light comes on and stays on for a few days.

Has anyone any idea what the problem could be??

You need to get it plugged in to a diagnostic machine to find out.

It could be a number of things.

As i don't use the accelerator at any point during the hill thought it could be a lambda sensor? Doesn't happen when driving normally?
