Did an email to MBS in Southampton but they will not touch, no reply from PCS in Horndean...has anyone had one fitted by a gargae south coast?

As it's "electrics" rather than mechanical, maybe comandonline.co.uk in Lightwater Surrey, near J3 M3, are a possibility.

I've sent them an email but not holding out hope as they don't supply this product and thus may not be keen to attempt fittment.

Actually good news Comand Online have offered to supply and fit for £550 which I will take them up on, just asking if they can do an android auto upgrade while they are at it!

Considering the smart top is £400+ to purchase (I looked at one for my SLK) that's a good price, and I'm sure they can also do an android auto upgrade while playing with your car - but it'll cost a bob or two! If you stay with the car while they do it, walk up the road back towards the M3, not far is a pub where we had a nice lunch and decent pint while we waited!

DIY? I installed a Smart Top to my Volvo C70 (admittedly older electrics system) myself, and apart from accessing one connector hidden in the boot lining, it was straightforward, with no problems.

Smart top do have comprehensive guides to DIY install but I do appreciate that some people feel they don't have the skill or tools to do it themselves.

Got the Smart-Top supplied and fitted by Comand Online in record time today!..hardly had time to finish my scampi and chips at the local pub. Absolutely love it.
Enjoyed nosing around the owners beautiful SL600 V12, simply stunning.
Certainly recommend the service these guys supply.
