Smart Roadster Brabus Xclusive

See, that is why we need to have a GTG near you - too wide disparate a choice of your cars to see!
I do like variety, and Mercedes/Smart are particularly good at variety, probably one of the reasons why I like them so much.

If our next GTG is near me, then pick a combination of the following and I’ll bring the closest one or two 👍🏻
  • Engine placement: Front engine, front mid-engine, rear mid-engine, and rear-engine.
  • Engine displacement: From 698cc to 8439cc.
  • Induction: Naturally aspirated, turbocharged twin turbocharged and supercharged
  • Transmission: Manual, robotised manual, twin-clutch auto, torque converter auto
  • Roof: Tin top, sunroof, panoramic roof, hard top convertible, targa, soft top convertible.
  • Drive: Rear wheel drive, four wheel drive

P.S. No W a n kel?

Actually, checked on the scales for the first time in ages . Now 102 Kg 😁

Always had the "Rugby player build" and specialise in "Brute force and ignorance "🤣
We prefer “traditionally built.”

My W204 is 2243.8

Fuel - 66
Washer Bottle - 6
Cooling System - 3.8
Engine - 2148
Oil - 7
Transmission fluid - 9
Lemonade in boot - 4
Er no.

The engine is 2.148 litres or 2148 cc

So, 97.948 including the lemonade 👌
😁

Seeing as we are including all the pumping volumes...
(2 x 5.4) + 3 = 13.8l.
👍🏻

It’s sometimes said that a supercharger makes the engine perform like an engine of equivalent capacity of both the engine displacement and supercharger combined.

It’s difficult to see with a factory supercharger as it’s rare to have an identical engine with and without the supercharger fitted. With this car the supercharger is aftermarket making it easier.

It’s 360 PS when it leaves the factory and 557 PS with the supercharger (and no other modifications). Interestingly (360/5.4)*8.4 = 560 PS, which is remarkably close to being a linear relationship.

My particular car has additional parts fitted including a manifold, exhaust, cams and other tweaks, which increases power output to 604 PS, so it’s no longer linear.

New tyres fitted today. The originals were dated week 45 in 2005, so they were more than 19 years old. As the car has done so few miles and garaged, the tyres showed absolutely no sign of aging at all.

Are the new wheels fitted??
:ttiuwp
Oi, that’s my line Chris! 😁

One is - last time I used the car I clipped a house brick lay right in my path in the dark on a dual carriageway. As the sidewalls are very shallow and the tyres are stretched the rim is very exposed.

I avoided it by a hair’s breadth, so the tyre was spared but the very edge of the wheel caught the brick. So I’ve popped one of the new wheels on and the rest are being stored carefully.

I might get it repaired or I might get a piece of glass cut to size and use it as a table in my office, I haven’t decided just yet. I absolutely love these wheels and always have, so I might go for plan B!

The frustrating thing is that it was detailed, hard top fitted and tucked up ready for winter, but it’s my son’s favourite car and wanted to go out in it one last time when it happened 🤦🏼‍♂️

The tyres were replaced in the wind and rain yesterday, so it’s not looking it’s pint-sized sexy best, but I’ll take a photo or two later with the new wheel and boots fitted 👍🏻

I have time 😁

I have no money after buying those wheels and tyres, but I do have time 😁
