Good Year and Happy New Year. My car is smoking black thick smoke. The engine is a M646. I recently sorted compression issues with the nozzles and that's when it started. Any advice

Welcome.

Unsure what you mean by "compression issues with the nozzles"?

Did you have the injectors repaired or replaced? Black smoke suggests that the fuel to air ratio is wrong and too much fuel is being injected.

The mechanic opened the top cover and poured water. The water was jumping vigorously and he said the nozzles aren't sitting well hence he repaired and I believe he changed the copper washers.

So you had leaking injectors.
Not uncommon.

Were the injectors repaired or replaced?

Then they have either been repaired incorrectly or they need calibrating as it seems as if they are over injecting.
Makes alot of sense.
I will ask the specialist to check and then update you. On the 6th
