Well I can tell you in the case the former Senior Destructive Tester for Rolls Royce Motor Cars.
I sold, on ebay, for a forum buddy. A 320 124 Estate. Quite leggy on miles and with some rust issues round the wings and a few other places too.
The buyer turned out to be both the prewar and postwar senior destructive tester for Rolls Royce Motor Cars. As you can guess he is now quite senior in years himself too now. A delight to communicate with and talk to on pick up of the car.
Should anyone be in need of any spares for Rolls Royce or Bentley Motor Cars then I have a telephone number for you. Apparently he has a few breakers tucked away in a barn somewhere. His daily trundle car has been a 124 Estate for years - I can think of no finer testament to the 124 Marque than this Gentleman's choice of chariot
