It's cold but sunny outside and I am dreading washing my Sprinter (it's like washing a limo) which I am going to start doing now after I have had a nice warm cup of coffee first. :)

So how many of you will be washing your cars later on unless you have already done so this morning...?

Mine needs a good wash and treatmant.

Now that you have mentioned it, I think I will do it this afternoon.

Did mine last weekend, got filthy again during the week.

Just done it again today.

Nice fresh day, tidied the garden too of old bushes/small trees I had cut down before Xmas.

Bought some more Meguiars stuff (Halfrauds actually have a good offer on a valet pack - though it was painful watching the staff turn up for work at 10am - moonlighting from Argos and McDonald's maybe? :D ) so will start now - only needs a quick going over as it was all done for the MB World GTG.

I'll be washing the C250, but only because it's off for p/x soon...the rest I won't be bothering with.

I done the CE last weekend and again yesterday...:D

I spent three and a half hrs washing the Sprinter and it is looking NICEEEEEE...

It was absolutely filthy as dirt really shows on Artic White paint work. Best bit is finishing and afterwards looking at the results of all the hard work. I even had couple of people that walked passed and commented that it looks like new, and even got a nice smile from a very pretty lady who joked if I needed some help warming up after I had finished...:)

My friend has taken a couple of snaps this evening on his digital camera which I will post later on once he has emailed them to me.

I'm litle pi$$ed looking at the swirls/scratches that the hand car wash place have put on and will ask body shop to deal with them when it is going to them later in the week. I also found a few new small specs of rust - another re-spray will be needed on couple of the panels which the body shop did not fully re-spray last time from the previous claim when they should have done so.

Some pics taken this evening...

The tyres need black dressing on them which I will apply tomorrow.

I was gonna wash mine, but then wen't out for lunch instead

must definitely be the cleanest van in ALL of London, if not the UK !!

Washed mine today ... only as it looks like the weather is going to be half decent this week - which means it won't need washing again by tomorrow night, for a change !

Come on Flash, you know you can do better than that - trim needs some Nero spray ;)

And why are you working on a sprinter when you have a 215 to lovingly caress?

(And yes, did work on mine today :o )

W215 is all clean/washed up like the W203 BUT I need the weather to be slightly warmer/milder before I can treat her to a entire Zymol session so that she looks her best. Best results are obtained when applying polish/wax at the correct temperature. This week I’ll try to take it to my Dad’s place to wash again so that I can use his garages (they are heated) so I can polish/wax it.

I was looking for my car washing gear but it's still in a box somewhere from when I moved house last August.

Yes, my car hasn't been washed since August 2006! Still looks good though ;) (wheels look terrible).

I wash my car every sunday (unless it's raining heavily), I hate to see it mucky. My neighbours think I'm nuts, and they may well be right... ;)

It's still a Mercedes and I did say in the first post of the thread "Sprinter".

PS. 208CDI Sprinter would stick to your tail easy up to 90MPH and in mid range out perform a lot of cars...;) New V6s CDI is even better. Ohh, there wil be pics of some new Mercedes trucks too on the Forum soon...!!!:);)
