Thought I would share a few photos of a private collection of cars I was lucky enough to be invited to view whilst on a business trip to Wolfsburg recently.

Thanks for posting the pics. Is it open as a museum to the public? If so, you could spend a good couple of days in Wolfsburg just looking at some amazing cars, as the VW factory and museum is there also.

Interesting mindset re. the 'lucky' owner, with multi millions of pounds worth of amazing cars there. I'm full of admiration of anyone that can amass that amount of money, but if you told me it belonged to Fred the shred or Bob Diamond, I'd be having different thoughts!

That is an amazing collection of cars! Some real works of art and some quite 'left field' choices.
I love the race cars, but I also think that they should be driven...

In the back of my mind though, I can't help thinking that sometimes less might be more - limit yourself to perhaps 10 cars, and then think hard about what you would choose, as opposed to a 'buy everything I have ever liked' approach.

Still gets my full respect however; if you can afford to do it, and it makes you happy, you should!

My favourite private collection is that of Mr Ralph Lauren, I went to Paris last year just to see a few of them. My Cousin has had the pleasure of visiting his home and seeing a few more, he works for the company.

He has an incredible collection and does drive them. Its impossible to drive them all that often but at least he has a go.
