I recently imported some "Sonus Acrylic Glanz" and it has caused a riot on our street. As many of you know I like to try new products and few impress me but this one really has.

What I do is wash the car, then spend 5 minutes putting this stuff on with a microfibre cloth. The results are amazing my black car looks as if it has been repolished.

Full details can be found at:

http://store.yahoo.com/cgi-bin/clink?autopia+MBWu4u+index.html+

Then use the search with the word "Glanz"

This stuff is compatable with Autoglym and Klasse. It means you dont have to re-polish so regularly to get a bling finish.

Anyway the neighbours borrowed the stuff as it is so easy to use and now we have a street full of really wet-looking bling cars.

I am going to place an other order with Autopia and I already have an additional 3 bottles to order.

What is great about this stuff is that I dont normally polish the car between September and March. This "Glanz" gets it through the winter looking great. I also find it does not stain any rubber or plastics as it is such a fine spray. I have also applied it just before it rained on the car even this gave a good finish. But if you have warm dry weather the stuff cures better and the car actually gets more shinny over night.:D

I am getting the porter cable out in a few days (as soon as the weather gets better) so it will be good to see what this stuff does on fresh polish.

Looks interesting - any pics? I have a friend visiting from the USA soon so she could bring it over and save on shipping costs!!

Don't suppose they gave you a promotional code at all?

Thanks for that Nigel - but talk about more expensive!! It's the same in £ as in $ and the UK price is net of VAT!!!!

If it is as good as suggested (hopefully will get a pic or 2 from Goldfish) I think I'll be asking Elaine in the USA to bring some over! She will have room as she is taking a laptop back so will be good ballast :D

Auto Glym Radiant Polish/Wax (all in one) which is the same product as Auto Glym Resin gives pretty good results as well - I have got a big 5L can and am very impressed with it and it does not take long to apply at all after a wash and is compatiable with any generic shampoo.

Soarbust: If I was to use the above Zymol spray inbetween waxing sessions of Zymol Cream Wax could I still get away with it as long as I use the Zymol shampoo without having to HD Cleanse the entire car again the enxt time I wanted to apply Zymo Cream Wax?

Pics

I will get some done this weekend when I do a wash. The last time I washed it was two weeks ago and it is still looking good but the salt on the roads is over most of the paint work now. But I could do one but it wont be in the full glory of after a quick wash.

I will see if I can get a few cars from the road to line up for a team shot :D .

Put it this way, take a look at my other pics on the forum (e.g. on the polish thread http://www.mbclub.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=6997) This is for a freshly polished vehicle and I am getting similiar results after a quick wash and a 5 minute buff 5 months after the original polish.

I cant wait to try this stuff after giving the car a proper wax/polish with Klasse or Autoglym. I think I can layer this to get some really great show car results.

As identified you are best off importing the stuff it works out cheaper.

Yup ! Thats the idea of it. Would seriously suggest using the Lehm Klay bar as well - amazing results.

I've been using Sonus acrylic spritz for a while.
It works great & adds an extra sparkle.
I polished my last car (the bmw:o ) with the Klasse twins (klasse aio & klasse high gloss sealant glaze).
The combination of those products with some layering of the Sealant glaze gave an incredible shine (for a silver car).
The only problem I have found with the Klasse HG sealant glaze is that unless you dry the car off after washing it on a warm or sunny day it can leave bad watermarks.

Once over with the sonus spritz & it was as good as a freshly polished/waxed car for no effort.

I've not got round to doing the merc:o with the klasse yet as it can wait till the nicer weather so its just been done with the sonus spritz for now.

Quantum just interested...

Did you clay the car before using Klasse All in One? And it goes without saying that the car should be totally dry before applying Klasse products.

My silver Merc was clayed, machine polished with a PC, then Klasse AIO 3x Klasse SG then 2 coats of a very durable wax called Collinite 476S (lasts for months and months) topped recently by a recent addition to the market and one that has rave reviews for silver cars 'Victoria Collectors' wax. Between waxing I use something called Chemical Guys Blitz which is a wax based spray on sealant (the wax alternative to the Sonus Glanz which I also have) to top up the shine and give that just waxed look.

A wax on top of Klasse will definately add some depth and wetness to the silver merc. But the Glanz would be the wronk spray to top up with.

Just my 2p oh and a piccy of my car with all the above on to follow shortly...

Spoke to my friend and she has ordered some for me (3 x $16) and will bring it over in a week or so. Will try and post some before and after myself (obisidian black!)

I spent 3 days claying the car with fine & medium clay. The old woman I bought it from had done nothing but wash it once a week with a powerwasher.

But the Glanz would be the wrong spray to top up with.

According to the guy who supplied my Klasse twins the sonus spritz can be used between the klasse HG sealant layers without the need to start the who process again if I wanted to add some more layers of HG sealant glaze.
If he was right or wrong I dont know but it worked ok for me & the car had a good shine for a silver car.

I was only using the sonus SPRITZ as a quick detailer or to remove water marks from the finish.
