Seems like its had a hard life ..... :(

Why do people lie about what things cost ? ;)

'and oh so very expensive (£1000 each, I kid you not, call Mercedes to find out!) 17” factory black AMG’s, genuine by the way!'

Offset looks waaaaaay wrong on the wheels too ...

Lots of things to do to get it right....... :(

EDIT :- check out his recent feedback, seems a nice guy !

It needs more than a couple of hundred to sort it out too, the bumper repair would cost that alone  . Could be good again tho it will be interesting to see what it sells for.

Interestingly, although it has leather now, it didn't when new. Why would somebody buy a new Brabus without leather?

Shame that they are not a set of W124 AMG Aero 1's with the correct offset as they would be worth a fair amount of money as its hard to find a set of those wheels nowadays.

The seatbelts come forward by themselves when ever the doors are opened which is well cool

Not too fammilar with the W124 coupe. What does the above mean ?

p.s. howard.....is that a new avatar? :)

Are you kidding? Not well cool at all. Those automatic seatbelts were all the rage on American cars in the late 80's early 90's. It is one of the most annoying "safety" features ever instroduced. The basic idea is that you can forget to put on your seatbelt as when you shut the door, the belt motors back into place, thus securing the occupant. Nasty.

It doesn't have leather, it has MB-Tex. The passenger seat looks badly torn as well.

A better question is .. Why would somebody buy a new Brabus with the smallest engine possible?

The seat belt extenders are pretty cool. It's because the doors on the coupe are so long that without the extenders it would be a long reach back to get the belt.

I totally agree on the extenders. They are extremely useful, but if you want to ignore them you can, and they just retract back by themselves if you, don't want them.

They wait for 30 seconds before retracting. But, if you press the red button on the seat belt clip, they go back immediately.

- Different thing altogether.

Turns out that this car was bought by the chap that purchased the Brabus 3.6 coupe which i had. He's in the process of rebuilding it, and purchased this car to strip some parts he needed.

Bearing in mind the extent of damage to my old Brabus, he's a brave man, especially after paying £3,500 for it!

The remains of the 230CE are back on ebay:

It needed enough work before, that is never worth £750 is it? Brabus or not, can even be classed as a Brabus now, with no kit, Engine Mods and fake leather and I think the mileage is incorrect look at the seats

I spoke to the chap with regards to Navs old car after spotting the car without the kit on ebay. They reckon its got no chassis damage and they have had it inspected, so far its been stripped back to bare metel, they have sourced a kit and had a custom oil cooler made, the chap thinks the project will cost a total of around £10k.
