Spec list?

Hi all,

Does anybody know how I could retrieve the factory spec (I.e all the chosen options) of a Mercedes if I have the VIN and reg number?

I ask as a colleague at work is thinking of buying a newish Merc SLK (soon to be auctioned) and wants to see the full 'correct' spec and i'm sure I have seen on here somewhere before some-one listing every option that came with their car including the 'option or part' code?

How newish is it? The Russian site does not recognise very new cars. If you cannot find it there, post the VIN or PM and someone could give you the data card.

That site only goes up to the end of 2005

Suggest you PM it rather than open post it? I can't get the info myself but this is a very helpful place and someone will post saying that they can help!

Thanks guys, my colleague is looking for a 2005 SLK, so that site should be of great help.
