I never, ever see other older Mercs when I'm out in mine. In fact since owning my current W140 I haven't seen another.

I saw a mint 560SEL steaming down the A3 a few days ago, it was black and looked immaculate. I now wish I sped up and gave him a congratulatory wave for driving such a cool car.

Funnily enough, when I went out for a little drive yesterday in the S320 (I had just washed and polished it ) I saw something beige in the distance, I eventually caught up and discovered it was another S320. And on Wednesday night I saw another one although it was a 280.

Typical, you go for months without seeing one then 3 come along at once

I've not really seen any other notable Mercs when doing the rounds though. It's all rotten W124s or manky looking 190s.
