Sprint Booster

Wish I had known of this product if it existed when I had my w202. The sloooow throttle response I assume designed for smooth driving with an automatic was a real pain with the manual box and made itr really unresponsive.

Well you shouldn't have gone for the poverty spec car then should you.:D

Any chance you could put an Ohm meter end to end and give us the readings between the pins??

Thanks in advance :)

You asking me by any chance ????

No - it's no different from a 'Sport' button in a BMW M5 or Porsche 911. It basically makes the throttle response more sensitive.

Oohh thats great! ive E-mailed them now and sure ill be getting one soon! :D

Thanks guys!

Your gonna love it mate, trust me.

Which one did you opt for ???
BDD451A (FOR AUTO) or the BDD451 (FOR MANUAL) ??

BDD451A (FOR AUTO)

Im still waiting for a reply from them! hopefully will be as good as you say it is really got my hopes up for it!

I'm sure I'm showing my ignorance a little here, but as someone who isn't exactly bashful with his right foot anyway I'm not sure if this would make any difference?

It can't actually deliver any more performance than you car actually has, and surely if you push the throttle further you're getting the 'benefit' of this device anyway? This device would only seem to be useful if you don't want to have to floor it to get the performance?

Granted I can see how less throttle equates to more 'go', but wouldn't that make the car harder to drive smoothly in traffic?

Wrong............................

If i want to drive hard, then the S button on the gearbox really does become an S, little like when you hit the M button on the new M5 and it gives more oomph i know it sounds like a lot of cobblers but trust me when i say its true, the throttle response is instant.

The first day i installed it i reversed out of our drive like i normally would do but this time it left a || on the path, my first impression was "GOOD GOD".

But for tone down silky smooth gearchanges car goes in W mode.

All in all im very :bannana: with this product.

I've ordered mine after reading a lot of good reports in America. Will post in due course.

There is no doubt MB design the throttle response to be a little dead. For those who this doesn't suit this really does sound like a great device.

c=Could this increased acceleration not put unecessary strain on the engine if it's 'launching' the car more often?

Like anything I'm sure if you abuse it some degree of harm will result, but realistically I doubt it.

Before I bought the C32 I test drove an SLK32 and it's throttle was like a trigger. Took me by surprise. The C32 seemed less so, whether the SLK32 had been tweaked, or the C32 has a less agressive map for throttle, or maybe I was just used to the on/off nature by the time I drove the C32 I'm not sure.
