Sprinter 308D OM601 engine Timing ???

Hey guys - been having a problem trying to find exactly where the timing marks are on the engine (OM601 2.3D) - I have found the one on the crank and i think i know where the one is on the camshaft but not sure where the others are and how to check - Can anyone point me in the right direction or does anyone have any photo of where they are - The engine had a rebuild and i think the garage doing it didnt time it correctly - so I need to check this - Any Help would be appreciated - Many Thanks Jon

I have not sorted this as yet - any help would be appreciated - I think i know where the timing marks are on the Crank and the camshaft but i dont know how to sort out the diesel pump timing or the correct settings - any info would be helpful please..

You will need a couple of speacial tools to set the pump up correctly.

Fantastic - This will be a great help - I look forward to this job !!! - not - but will give it a go - first thing is just to check the timing is correct with camshaft & crank - if this is O.K then i will give the fuel pump a go - I had the Retter book but it didnt give as much detail as you have & i bought the WIS DVD but again i couldnt find what i was looking for there either ( dont know if i was looking in the wrong place)- if you dont mind me asking where did you have this info from ?
