Hi, I’ve a C238 (e class coupe 2018) and when driving over light bumps/normal roads at low speeds I can hear a squeak/chirp from the o/s rear originally thought it was coming from front but it’s definitely o/s rear, anyone else had this problem I’m guessing it’s a bush or anti roll bar rubber maybe but there’s about 12 bushes each side at the rear so don’t know where to start.?

I have something very similar in my C63 saloon, thought it was a 'feature' when I first noticed it. Seems to be worse when its damp and/or cold outside, i'm guessing dry bushes maybe? I've gotten used to it now, I know its not a safety issue though, as the suspension was thoroughly checked when it went in for repairs, after I had a pothole 'incident' in June.

Ask you local garage if you can use the 4 poster lift , or ask amy garage to do it for you . And take along 4 x 500 ml cans of spray silicone oil nothing else .Then spray all the rubber bushes on the the rear suspension .Also you can do the same on the front along wth any other rubber parts you can see . This will preserve them and stop the rubber drying out and splitting.. Dont get any in the brakes .

I had a similar noise on an old CLK55, it was a lower outer bush on the passenger rear

The garage will tell you that this. or that , needs changing, but it not always true. And most of the time it is only a dry bubber bush in the suspension .
