Should i rely on a warning light to tell me my break pads are on their last legs on my w210 or let the squeaking sounds :Dtell me ?

thanks

They feel different when they`re out and I`d trust that instead of a bulb

Assuming you're not blind you could always just check?

Failing that just carry on regardless and buy new discs as well come grinding time! :dk:

Or just carry on regardless, it will still stop...might be a bit difficult to handle one the disks wear down to the vents.

if you know your pads are gone why wait to change them ,better than smacking into some one or necking yourself

Do you know the wear sensors were refitted the last time it had pads? It's very common on older cars not to bother replacing them. You might be waiting for an alarm bell with no clapper!
