SRS light

Hi all,

The SRS light keeps coming on full time when only me in the car, but goes out like it should when I have a passenger in the passenger seat.

Will it just be the sensor under the seat or could it be more?

Will/could the air-bags actually go off for no reason?

Dealer where I bought it (non-MB) is going to have a look at it Thursday, so not got time to get it to MD dealer and hook it up to a STAR machine.

yes probably the seat sensor. Price of these varies depending on your car..

I wouldnt worry about airbag going off.

Well that's a relief anyway

Car should now be in my sig, if not it's a S320 CDI - W220 - 02 plate.

lol - ive got exactly the same fault. Ive just removed the drivers seat to replace the vertical adjustment mechanism for the elec seat and now the SRS light appears intermittently.

Easy job to do imo - going to get the code read first to make sure.
