srs restraint fault

hello , need your help again, l have a s320 cdi 52 plate , when i put the ignition on srs restraint fault visit work shop comes on
i have noticed the drivers side seat belt height adjustment is all the way down when i pull it up it goes down again , the pass side is fixed in the middle is this the fault and how to repair?

That's not the fault, but is another one which you will need a new unit for.

The SRS light is probably the passenger seat recognition pad gone faulty.

agree with diesel man, the srs fault is not connected to the height adjuster, that is a cable controlled, check under seat to see if the cable has come off!!!
