STAR / ECU query

Hello all

I've a question around STAR / ECU mapping

I had my remapped slk55 R171 serviced at the main dealer yesterday. As always I asked them NOT to reflash the ECU, however on the 25 mile drive home it felt pretty gutless..when I put it into manual there used to be a slight flat spot in second which has disappeared which again would suggest they ignored my request

My question is am I able to see if it has been re flashed on STAR?. If I'm going to complain I would like to have some proof

Ask for a printout of the work carried out. If there was a software update, there should be a record of it

Thanks. There's nothing showing on the invoice. It's all the aggravation of getting the remap redone that's galling after I asked them not to do anything

its very rare that the dealer would flash any units on a car without a reason, they would definitely not do a ECU flash
