STAR tweaking the Wastegate and boost pressure on a W210 E class?

Hi,

Is it possible to increase the boost value/ pressure on a W210 E class? E300TD.
At the moment the wastegate open at about 16 PSI once the ECU see this kind of pressure, but I can lock it and go up to 26 PSI ( zoom zoom) , but then ECU shut the boost after that( it must be freaking out ...),and goes back to 17 PSI for a second then up again, a wee yo-yo style... .
I would like to have 25 PSI, is it possible to tweak this with STAR or it need to be a re-map with some other tools and specialist shops?

But the point made was valid - 25psi is a lot of boost (and hence why the ECU dials it back)... For sure it will be quick, but not for very long before things go bang!

The boost pressure is not an issue here for the engine as it can take it. The real bugger is the way too small turbo. It might be OK with some WI to cool it down, not sure yet, but the question remain, can we tweak the boost pressure with STAR? Some of the mechanics here must know that?

Not as far as I know.

Get it remapped and the boost and fuel adjusted to suit. Maybe a member on here, Bones can help.

I don't want to do a remap yet, too costly and the bother would still be the same, wee turbo etc...
