Starter Battery

Starter battery in my R230 SL 500 needs replaced, tried looking online but most replacements are too high at 175mm the Varta OEM one that is fitted MB part No, A2305410001 is only 140mm high. Has anyone found an alternative starter battery that fits or is this battery a unique size to the SL 500.

Any help would be appreciated

Get one from your local main dealer. Not that expensive and you get a 2 year warranty. Ask for a discount as there is quite a mark up on batteries.
