Steering lock jammed!!!

Please can any one help!!!
My steering lock has jammed, the wheels are straight, But the ignition key won't turn to release the steering lock...

I too hope it's not the barrel

I too hope it's not the barrel, but it is looking very likley.....

Just dont take it to the dealer to have the work done go to a specialist parts prices work out around the same as they have to order a barrel to match your key from MB anyway but the labour will be a lot less painfull.
