Steering wheel knock

Gents,

Newbie here has a knock from my 211 steering wheel. I can make it happen by putting pressure on the s.wheel from side to side so I do not think it is suspension. Sounds almost as if the s.wheel is loose on the column? Also happens when turning....

Anyone had this problem?

Therer have been some problems with the actual steering racks on 211's, but I would have check everything else first.
