Car
C63 AMG 2009
Last night i was stopped by the police in my drive way. I was returning home after meeting a few friends in Crawley, we had been "playing" on the A roads.

I got to the A23 by East Surrey Hospital, south earlswood/ Salfords and could see a couple of police cars looking at joining the A23.. Thinking nothing of it i continued into Earlswood, down my street and just as i pull into the driver an unmarked BMW and 2 Squad cars light up behind me.

I climbed out the car an officer asks me for some ID another one comes across and says no not this one sarg.... Im thinking WTF????:dk:

Turns out there is a silver AMG running around redhill reigate salfords horley on false plates that keeps giving the cops the slip. I asked them which car i should be keeping an eye out for so i can report it all they said was a silver AMG

My parting comment was your going to need more than a diesel BMW to catch one of these.. got a thumbs up, wished them a merry Christmas and continued to park the car in the garage..

Is that anywhere near "the M5 , southbound between Gordano and Clevedon" ?

Neither being my part of the world , I genuinely don't know ?

An interesting link to make between the two, even if not the case this time. You never know who the 'tw*t' is driving that car so badly or so dangerously. Have they just stolen it? Are they off their heads on drugs? Are they violent people with perhaps little to lose by stopping to smash your face in or ramming you? Are their mates in the car behind? Will they take a photo or note of your registration? Moral is back off, keep cool, live long... no stigma. Easy to say sitting here of course, not so easy when a huge surge of adrenalin has just whizzed through you (as a result of that fear/self preservation instinct - not the excitement one). Happy new year!
