Please keep your eyes out.

Shame, there are some nasty people around! I know there probably won't be many around just like that one, but it will look just like 'another 124' if you happen to be following it, so it might be an idea to post the reg mark if you can.

What a shame, looks like a lovely car.

I'm in the ilford/barking area all the time so will keep my eyes peeled in case its still local

Hi Simal,

Sorry to hear about that, but if someone is going to steal such a distinctive looking car, they obviously have a plan for it and I doubt if you will see it on the road. :o

Lovely car. Sad to say -probably "stolen to order" destined for foreign parts.:(

I agree - not a typical 'opportunist' theft, probably stolen for parts and will be stripped (wheels/bodykit etc) and the rest crushed unless it can be found very quickly.

Whoever took that car knew what they wanted and no doubt has plans for the bits and what to do with the rest :(

Wow thats a beauty, possibly gone forever tho.

Here is one case where tracker could have been a help.

Will keep an eye out in the North West for it.

Akash, did the CE have a decent, modern alarm fitted?..... Was it stolen from an area at at where it usually resides?

I know an alarm is hardly a deterent for the expert/specialist car theif, but just wondering if the idea of a tracker is worthwhile if an alarm is not....

Will keep a lookout on ebay/pistonheads etc etc to see if any parts pop up....

Real shame as that looks like a stunner....

Sorry to hear about your friend's loss. I agree with the earlier posts that its unlikely to stay in the country as a whole car but you never know. I know lots of owners hide their registration plates on their pics but now may be a good time to reveal the same just so people can keep a more specific eye out. Every little helps to try to rescue your friend's pride and joy.

i though one of the advantages of owning an old car is no one would want to steal it

i though one of the advantages of owning an old car is no one would want to steal it

But you do know that the bodykit and whells are worth around 2k.They might not care about the car at all
PS.Sorry to hear about your friend mate and if i see something,i`ll let you know

If it is on the road the plate would have been changed by now.

It's not exactly a subtle car - would have been a professional. So unless it wasn't a professional I can't see it having it's plates on there.

Maybe it was done in a gone in sixty seconds style, by using someone on the inside to order the keys from Germany lol.

On a more serious note I hope they catch the fecker and key their face.

Is that damage on the boot spoiler? If it is then it will make it easier to spot.

sorry to hear. good luck, will keep my eyes open, but its important to just drive around and look at 10 mile radiius from stolen location

looks like damage yeah on pics.

Sorry to hear this. I'll keep a look out around North London.

If a 'professional' theft , since THEY don't know if there is a tracker fitted or not , perps usually park car up somewhere on a side street for a day or two to see if someone traces it , so it is worthwhile touring the area to see if it is sitting somewhere .

It may also simply be the work of 'TWOC'ers who saw a nice car , with less security than some newer cars , took a ride in it and have now dumped it somewhere .
