Had a new Nokia C1 phone sent to replace the old 6220 recently!

While it connected to my Viseeo without problems, then uploaded the address book, it doesn't display the names or numbers correctly, instead it shows what looks like an Encryption number (Although the phones not encryted as far as I know!)..

Anyone seen this before, or any idea's what may be causing it??

Had the same problem with a C1. I contacted Viseeo and according to them the problem was with the Nokia software.

You are seeing the address book in hexadecimal format. How old is the viseeo, and has the firmware ever been updated ? It could be the c1, the C series are a bit painful on bluetooth

Richard

Cheers,

Did you ever get it resolved or is it still an issue??

I went back to using the 6310i.

Richard, I did check the firmware and it was the latest version.

Yeah, that's exactly what it looks like Richard, hex number..

Bought the ViseeO about 18 months ago I believe, never been updated though as it's worked perfectly up till now.

Don't have the option of going back to the old one as it's company supplied...

18 months ago should have the newest firmware.

When its paired, hold down the top 2 buttons for about 10 seconds, you will get a fake incoming call on the car - The number displayed is the firmware version - it should be 200027039

Richard

Thanks Richard,

Tried it this morning on the way to work, yep 200027039 so all up to date.

May try sending the contacts instead, see if it makes a difference..
