Has anyone managed to squeeze a sub into a CLK Cab underneath where the hood goes?

The gap looks tiny, and i dont want to put it in the limited space available at the front and sides of the boot.

Am i destined to live without bass now!!??

Cheers

Aren't you happy with the standard fit sub in the CLK cab?

???

i think mine is lacking one where should it be?

the stereo does sound ok, maybe i just havent found it?

its a 2000 230k avantgarde if it matters

little grille underneath the rear armrest..... there is a sub behind.

to replace, remove the rear seat base and put a new one in

depending on how much you want space in the boot, ive seen a nice sounding 2x8" enclosure made for it!

they were the Top JL audio subs tho which werent cheap and sounded the nuts!

speaker under armrest

hi i have a clk 2320k cab which is fitted with a bose speaker system, it includes a sub under the rear armrest (this was an optional extra when i got the car) look at my profile i have pictures on there showing the sub & housing

:P

On a lighter note, I tried fitting better speakers but had problems fitting them on the back shelf!!
