Hi i have a Slk 2.0 Kompressor, its a 2000 French LHD car ,
Does the supercharger use the same oil as the motor,- or is it separate unit and needs its own oil?
Why ? my local mechanic cannot find a drain plug for the supercharger to replenish the oil,
Then the local MB service dept says its integral with the motor and uses the same oil, no separate reservoir
But when i bought this i was given 3 bottles of supercharger oil???
Dont forget its a year 2000 170 and french ....
Any answers, thoughts or info much appreciated ,

If it's like my 2009 kompressor engine the supercharger oil is separate and only lubricates the gears.

Mobil jet oil is used in the E55 supercharger.
As above, definately seperate to engine oil.

Supercharger Oil
from Flango and that article
"GM 12345982 or the MB part number is A009896201 made by AC Delco for MB".
