Just wanted to know if anyone has information about the front dampers on the w639 models. I have a 2008 (pre facelift) Vito V6 sportX and the last owner installed some second hand monroe dampers on it.
The coils are all H&R lower and the rears are bilstein b6, as the Monroe's are old and one is leaking I wanted to install some bilstein b6 fronts (22-276407) but have been told by bilstein they are no longer available.
They make some for the facelift model after 2010 (part 22-276421), I asked bilstein UK and they said they can't tell me if they will work or not but the catalogue says 2010-14. Did the suspension system change from the pre Facelift to the Facelift?
Some searches for compatibility online say that they fit the Vito 120 and the 122 so that is basically my model (120 V6) but the 122 was the facelift era and the 120 pre facelift.....
I hope that all makes perfect sense and someone can help me out. Its a bit of an ask as you would need to know the w639 very well or have been the the same situation as me.
