After 120k miles of normal road use, the suspension elements of the s212 start to show their age. (For example rear camber - driver side - is off by -0.70, play in steering joints, etc.) It also started to cause uneven tyre wear by now.
Q1
If one tries to restore the original condition would you recommend dealing with aftermarket bushings, bolts, in particular using the steeply-priced adjustable bushings? Are those up to the MB quality or at least prime OEM (Lemförder) quality? (Especially when it comes to engineered torsion and flexibility of these parts to play together with the geometry of the multilink.) Is the pressing process a garage would do to change the bushing in an arm anywhere near the one the factory does?
Q2
How could the service get to know what element is to be changed: one arm, many, or even subframe? (Especially that they tend to struggle to find the factory settings for the suspension if it is the sport or normal.)
Q3
Could anyone help me with the original wheel alignment values for this car with the option Code of 677 = AVANTGARDE/STANDARD SUSPENSION, please?
