Car
1994 Mercedes C180 classic
Seeing as my Remus back box arrived, I was at a loose end due to not having the tools or expertise to fit an exhaust back box.

I called Ian who quoted me a very reasonable price (I still owe a small amount which will be duly paid btw). Ian and his team spent the best part of 3 hours and the price charged was not even close to what it would have cost in labour. He also fabricated and attached an exhaust hanger which had fallen off at some time during the car's life and never replaced.

Trapperjohn also took me over to the paint shop where Ian's new toy was getting a new paint job. That reminds me I have to take my car there and get a quote for the WALD kit....:devil:

Not taking Ian's generosity for granted, 124works and Ian are a brilliant garage, very reasonable prices and I have found new pleasure in driving my old four banger home.
Thanks again.:thumb::thumb::thumb::thumb:

It sounded nice when it went down the yard. I bet when opened up a little it sounds REALLY nice :D

We aim to please. :thumb:

Just itching to get back the Evil Twin, then polish her, then upload the before and after pics.

Does the Evil Twin have a sunroof? Just asking as I want the roof on my car painted black and need the sunroof lid to be painted black along with it, not just a blow over....

Personally I'd consider a black gloss vinyl "sticker" over the roof area rather than black paint - much easier to un-do if you get bored with the look!

I`ll second that
