Well to be fair Jay I've had nothing but good service of them. As I mentioned before, with the frame being classed as trim I was fully expecting (and prepared) to pay for it, but they wouldn't hear of it.
They are good if you can go there. Try and order stuff over the phone, even simple things. They dont like using the phone at all, instead your put on hold listening to finance options for the new e class for at leat 5-10 mins!
Also, if they know its gonna be a hard item to find, they have a standard answer - "they dont make that part anymore sir".
When you eventually do order something its always arrives 2 days late. Even if they just have to get it from Birmingham...
This is not just one time, every time, we have used them for over 10 years, but lately has become worse. I know a lot of other people have switched away from Gerard Mann.
Enough to drive you mad.
Im glad you had a good experience. They are nice chaps in there and my dad is friends with some of them, theyre just lazy.
