Linguatronic is Mercedes Voice activation control system. Some folks swear by it, others swear at it.

On the 210 it was option 390 and £300 incl of VAT

On the E430 Nappa leather was a £440 incl VAT option

The most expensive option available for that specific vehicle was AMG bodystyling £3988 Incl VAT.

This is just nit picking though and I'm simply answering the question about other available options. Your car is without doubt the most highly specced 210 I have ever seen. Someone is going to be a very lucky person.

Have you got the manual? If memory serves me there should be a little stalk on the column to activate it.

I have access to the cost of your listed options, but I only have prices for the 210 estate. In the year 2000 the E430 was £40,190 and the 55AMG was £56,640 but these are all estate car prices.

I think it depends on whether you believe what you see on Top Gear. Who can remember the episode where Clarkson reviewed the S-class? He was sat in the car trying to program the Linguatronic in broad daylight, and this sketch went on and on with him trying to educate the system deep into the night, all without success.

Then wind the clock on and remember him reviewing his own SL55 and his Linguatronic. He raved over it saying how good the system was sort of pot and kettles.

I know of someone from Norway who has this option in their 211 and they also really rated it.

We wanted this option for our 211 and was told it was not available for the estate which is another story, but I have been told that with Linguatronic you can put in the full postcode when using COMAND?

It's an option I would have, but certainly NOT a must have.

Are you thinking about the Chinese Restaurant or will you Wing the Wong number?

Yup thats pretty much full on full indeed the easiest way i like to tell if it has full on full features is by looking at the buttons this one clearly has 4 out of 4 on the bottom and 6 out of 6 on the top with the comand and the climate control panel this one really has every feature there in the centre console for shure
