The Open in Hoylake

Where I work is only a few minutes away from where the Golf Open will be held in a couple of days. So as a place to park 60 of the cars we have had these delivered this morning.

There are some very nice cars including at least 20 E320's. A number of C220's and Vaneo's and one nice G 350.

There are more nice MB's here than outside my nearest dealership in Liverpool.

Well another 20 cars arrived this morning. So there are now 80 cars parked up outside where I work.

After a lot of nifty to-ing and fro-ing to make room for these extra 20 cars they managed to get all the cars in to their parking places.

I don't know a thing about golf. But this has to be a positive side of it

A couple of more nice cars arrived at work today for the Open.

First there was the A45 AMG. Then there was a GL63 AMG. Which looks and sounds fantastic.

Last to arrive in a container was the new 2015 model S500 and the more impressive S63 AMG.

These two are the display cars. The S63 was given a wash and sent right out to be put on its stand at the golf club.

I couldn't get a decent picture of the S63 AMG due to the sun. But the S500 looks quite good in the picture I took. The green body work looks black in certain lighting conditions. You have to get up close to really admire the colour.

Working in Coventry and yesterday saw transporter leaving the airport industrial estate full of C & E class cars. All in white with decals for The Open and saying VIP cars.

There's several around Southport with decals for the Womens' Open (been on a couple of days already)
