This SL hurts my face

I think there's a few valid points made here:

1) It's styling is not to everyone's taste, but if we're all honest, it looks to 90% of people like a 'Brabus SL', which is what the second point is

2) Because we know it's not the real deal (7.3 V12) we all spit it out.

3) If it was the 'real deal', despite not liking the styling of it, most people would still admire it for what it is and what it was when it was designed - an automotive achievement and a rare car.

Has anyone seen Little Britain and the jam tasting! ;)

FWIW, It's not my cup of tea. I'd prefer a standard 500 for that kind of money.

Hello

I agree the 7.3 badge is OTT, but the styling is of the era the original car would have been made.

While not my taste it looks well looked after and cared for, polished rim on the alloys, debadge and its fine.

As others have said if it were a 7.3 the story would be different, people may still not like the wheels but thats how they were then.

3.0 or 7.3 its getting more and more academic on our roads...

A Saab 900 Turbo 16 7.3 V12...

Whatever will they think of next...

I have to admit it's a gud knightridermobile (but take the 7.3 off please).

Like others, it's period, in your face, should be de-badged, and not to my taste (even though I quite like some of the cars other don't).

i second that killerhertz i really like it.

So what if its trying to be something it never will be and so what that not everyone likes it. Its a nice car to begin with and with a few mods it has become something completley different.

I have seen one like this (but not as good:D ) with a huge engine dropped into it, it was a very fast car, very fast. But its dead now.

Can't say I like the look but at least the kit is original Brabus. Probably better off selling the bits seperately.

I think that de-badged and with some nicer wheels it would look pretty good IMO.

I wonder if it's one of those LHD jap imports? The small number plate aperture makes me think so.

Looks the same as the Brabus conversion from the photos I have. The Koenig kit was the only really different one.

The Brabus orefacelift front spoiler is similar to the AMG one but the lower lip is continous, not like the 2 fins like the AMG.

I'll dig out a pic when i get home.
