Good morning guys and gals!

I need 2 new rear tyres (run flat) and never bought runflats before.
What’s a decent price for a mid range one? Don’t do a great deal of motorway miles but I do 20-30 miles or so a day usually.

275/35 19 is the size I need! They’re the biggest I’ve ever bought! 😖

Have a look online? Many online tyre shops out there.

For 'mid range', look for Hankook, Nexen, Uniroyal, Avon, Kleber, etc.

That said, once you type-in the particular size and RFT, the choice of brands will narrow down anyway.

I’ve looked online, it was my first port of call I promise! I don’t know what a decent price is!

My first choice has always been Michelin, great wear characteristics, great wet and dry grip. Most sizes have a very good rim protector as well. What's not to like?
Well price maybe, depending on one's budget but what price safety?
These threads can run and run...

£200 to £260 is all I can find. Do they have to be run flat ?

Expect to pay between £200 and £270 for a premium brand. Would you not want to match the front tyres?
One experience with run flats was enough to put me off them for life (ripped side wall due to a pot hole)

I recently replaced my run flats for Goodyear Eagle Assymetrics and bought a space saver.
You will save about £60 per tyre but will have to buy your puncture kit, ie space saver or gunk and compressor. The car rides 100% better now. Your choice.
