my key fob fell apart the other day it is part number 14076003/0708, is it possible to just get the platic shell rather than having a full new key ((mb in mk quote me £185 for a new key with all the palava off having to bring in all the required paper work etc and they say you cannot just get the plastic key fob itself)

i am currently using my credit card key to unlock the car, I also have a 2nd set but the alarm unlock does not work on it (also has a different code 1407601406) and is slighly different (the red plastic IR cover is slightly bigger) but the actual flip out key does work

I've just got a new replacement case, How do i get the board out to swop over ?
I've removed the batteries and can't see a release catch to get the green board out.

There's a piece that looks like a white bar. Remove it...carefully...and the PCB will fall out.

I seen the white bar, I take it I need to use maybe terminal screw drivers or similar ?
Does this white bar go back in easy enough ?

Goes in easily. But if you damage it there'll be one in the new key. Either way you'll learn on one key...
