Not sure if this was just happening to my TomTom (Pocket PC version) or if something was going wrong up in the sattelites..

but on Wednesday night as i was driving into London according to my GPS i was driving at 430mph  starting somewhere between England and France and making my way in land.

Just couldn't pick my current location for some reason, and this continued from about 5:30pm to 6:30pm. Worked fine after that!

Will try a software re-install this weekend

Am i the only one picking up signals from UFO's?

You must have been in the Mondial then!!

:D

could it be down to sun spot cycle or Solar flairs? I've read somewhere that this is causing havoc with radio & Satellite devices
I have had a few incidents that sound the same as yours, on different equipment, but all is running OK at the moment

I was travelling yesterday and my colleague's TomTom 700 lost satellite lock for a good 5 mins (approx 4 miles).

It came back after the crazy 5 mins and Jane was perfect for the rest of the journey.

She does believe in a phantom junction on the M4 though between 47 & 48

I've read about this somewhere too.. but i thought it was around the time Mars had something to do with our planet.. and the moon was appearing a little red in colour.
