My CLK is in for its B service with Tony Purslow Basingstoke. Polite reception plus decent, albeit diesel, courtesy car for a change (E280 CDI) means warm and fuzzy feelings are evident so far, whether they will remain once the service has been done, the exhaust has been fixed and the brake warning light has been made to go out is yet to be seen!

I received a letter from tony Purslow last week saying that my b class is due for its MOT! Very odd as the B class is not even 1 year old yet! This is the first time I've had cause to complain!

Just got off the blower with Purslows.

Lets just say that having a B service done, changing your gearbox oil, replacing the exhaust manifold, and getting new front brake discs, new front brake pads, and new rear brake pads, not to mention a few other minor items means that the bill is not exactly beer money.

Oh well. Quality costs and all that.

When I phoned for a quotation for my B Service couple of weeks back I found Tony Purslow of Guildford not to be competitive.
