What tools would I need to change front pads and disks on a 2000 W202 ?

I have a basic (Halfords) socket set, and Axel stands......and all of this morning.

There is a "how to" for a W208 (pictures are missing though :( ) - is it basically the same ?

Shouldn't be too difficult. Socket set, a few spanners etc. An allen key or hex socket to remove the locating bolt for the disc. Threadlock or ideally new bolts for the caliper too.

You'll need to wind the caliper back when you come to fit the new pads - either a proper tool, or some sort of lever to push it back in (remove the cap from the resevoir and remove some fluid as required, to stop it overflowing)

Might be worth picking up some new pad wear sensors too. A bit of brake grease for the backs of the pads, or if not some copper grease (use a little on the mounting faces of the disc, stops it siezing to the hub and likewise hub to the wheel.

Torque wrench?

I'm sure you'll be fine - maybe do a few pics for a how-to for future reference :)
